About Miss Kruhm
Hi! My name is Stacey Kruhm and this is my eleventh year teaching. This is my sixth year at Ayden Elementary School and my fifth year in first grade. Go Angels! I have taught K-5th grades, spending most of my years teaching in 1st grade.
I was born in Washington, D.C. & grew up just north of there in Burtonsville, MD. I moved to Greenville in June 2002 to attend East Carolina University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I began teaching while working on my Masters degree. I received my Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading and Certificate of Academic Excellence from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2010.
I have two cats named Rose and Lilly. They are 6 years old and love to play with their toys and snuggle.
This summer I did a lot of traveling. I traveled to Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and South Carolina. I enjoyed time at the beach, pool, zoo, and aquarium. It was quite a busy summer for me and I'm ready to get back to school.
In my free time I love to read, spend time outside, and hang out with my family and friends. I'm looking forward to getting to know my new 1st graders!
